The 10th of February 2011 marked the official introduction and welcoming of the newly appointed MEC of the Limpopo Provincial Treasury, Mr David Masondo.The MEC was officially introduced by the Head of Department, Mr Nerulal Ramdharie and welcomed by all Limpopo Provincial Treasury staff and senior officials at Ismini Towers.

When introduced to staff, Mr Masondo stated that he would keep his speech brief as he prefers listening to people, observing people and making opinions based on his observations.

MEC Masondo expressed the warmth he felt from the Limpopo Provincial Treasury (LPT) staff when he walked in and because of that, he is willing to work with everyone and will treat staff with respect regardless of their rank or positions, whether they are cleaners or senior management.

MEC Masondo also emphasised that he would like to be treated and seen as a normal person and that he should not get any special treatment from staff just because he is the MEC. As much as he wishes to work with and attend to serving the people, he realises that it will not be possible to meet everyone all the time but would engage staff representative in an open and welcoming manner.

Indeed, MEC Masondo is a man of honour, dignity, respect and is dedicated to putting the needs of the people first before his.
